Cluj Arena represents a very interesting footbal stadium from Cluj Napoca, Romania. The contruction was made in the place of the old stadium – Ion Moina. The new stadium belongs to Cluj County Council, but the ones who „play” there are the footballers from „Universitatea Cluj” team.
The stadium is composed by two stands and two lawns, has a capacity of 30.201 people and it’s made at the highest quality standards. Thats why the new arena was given the title of „UEFA Elite Stadium”, the same title given to the National Arena Stadium from Bucharest.
The most important uses of the arena are given by:
- Football matches;
- Olimpic competitions;
- Music concerts.
In 2011 the name of „Cluj Arena” became a registered trademark because of it’s entry in the State Office for Inventions and Trademarks.
